Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your Need account and personal data at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

• Open the Need app and sign in.
• Go to Profile → Settings.
• Scroll to Delete account.
• Confirm. Your account and data are removed right away.

Request deletion without the app

If you can no longer access the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Need account". We verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, email, phone, city/country, bio, preferences).
• Your needs, responses, and the messages you sent.
• Your circles and any organizations you own.
• Your verifications, notifications, blocks, and purchase records.

What may be retained

For safety and legal reasons we keep a limited set of records in an anonymized form that is no longer linked to you:

• Abuse and safety reports (the reporter reference is removed).
• Security and audit logs (the actor reference is removed).
• Messages other people sent to you remain in their own conversations, unlinked from your account.

These records contain no personal identifiers tied to you and are retained only as long as required for fraud prevention, safety, and legal compliance.
