Need is for adults 18 and older. By creating an account or posting content you agree to these Community Guidelines and our Terms of Service.

Zero tolerance

There is no tolerance for objectionable content, harassment, hate speech, scams, illegal activity, sexual exploitation, violence, or abusive users, including when posting anonymously.

Your responsibilities

• Post only lawful, respectful, and honest needs.
• Do not use Need to sell illegal goods, solicit prohibited services, or harm others.
• Anonymous posts are still subject to moderation and reporting.

Safety tools in the app

• Report flag any need or message from the menu.
• Block stop another user from contacting you.
• Remove delete your own need from the feed immediately.
• Filtering prohibited language is blocked before posting.

Our enforcement

We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and suspending or permanently removing accounts that violate these guidelines. Repeat offenders are ejected from Need.
